Varadaan BS, RYT, and a member of the National Ayurvedic Medical Association, is a dedicated student of Dr. Lad, founder of the Ayurvedic Institute in Albuquerque, NM. It is a great honor to represent the lineage made available to the West by Dr. Lad and his Guru. Varadaan offers private consultations and classes for learning Ayurvedic healing techniques. He has trained with Dr. Vasant Lad in India and Albuquerque during several years of intensive study. A strong friendship and connection continues today. The lineage includes perspectives on Western medicine as well as Advaitic and Yogic wisdom.
Varadaan was born with the name Benjamin Lipman. Before diving into the ocean of Ayurveda and Vedic Sciences, he spent several years in India unfolding into the depths of Meditation. Before then, Varadaan founded the Solstice Institute, a 501(c)3 nonprofit, and created the current day Solstice Center facility, through which he campaigned for change in Boulder and beyond on topics including Community, Sustainability, Health and Personal Transformation. He holds a degree in Mechanical Engineering and Product Design from Stanford University.
